Euro's 2016

Talk about anything NOT related to Arsenal in the football world.

Euro's 2016

Postby Red Snapper » Tue Jun 28, 2016 10:08 am

I've just had a chat with Nicola Sturgeon. She suggested that as a large minority of us won't accept last night's result we should raise a petition to have the game replayed or we should approach UEFA to ask if we can be allowed to continue in the tournament because we don't want to be out of it.

Just bought Bonnie Tyler's Goalkeeping Nightmares DVD.

Lucky with decisions near the end but I thought their bookings earlier were a bit harsh. Shame for Ramsey they will miss him.

First Leicester now Wales this is the year of the underdog. I have not been impressed by Portugal and think Wales can beat them although they must keep Ronaldo quiet.

This is the year of the team.
The year of the team being more than the sum of its parts - Leicester, N.Ireland, Iceland, Wales (though they do have a couple ofworld class players)

Arsenal and England are both a lot LESS than the sum of their parts, and it needs sorted (well, Arsenal do. I couldn't give a monkeys about the three pussycats)

Looking forward to watching Italy now.
Forza Azzurri!!

So the dream ends for Iceland. They can be immensely proud of their team. An incredible achievement.
