Arteta out for 6 weeks with a thigh injury sustained during training!!
That means he will miss the CL qualies and the game against the Scum.
Here we go again

Similar article saying that of the 24 players listed on our squad page, there are injury doubts on 10 of them.

There a lot of posters on here who are criticising the Manager and Board about the problems we are experiencing at the moment, they are criticising because they are upset but you are enjoying every moment of it so if you really are an Arsenal supporter (and I don`t think you are) you should be ashamed of yourself.

I just find it strange how everyone is now panicking that no players have been bought yet where it has been clear all summer that was never going to happen.

Wenger has to make a £20 million profit each summer which he has done again by offloading the crap players.
As we dont have a top player to sell then dont expect a top player to come in.

when we sell Wilshere next summer then we will have the money to bring someone like Gervinho in again

sorry Phoenix but it is the only way to get though to some people on here.

I have posted an optimistic post in the official match day thread for tomorrow though!

Injuries

Postby Gunnersaurus » Fri Aug 16, 2013 6:49 pm

We are in real danger of being so thin that another 8-2 could be on the cards.

We are 2 injuries from a very bad situation, take Giroud and Wilshere out of this team along with the already injured Arteta and we are in severe trouble.

I would advise it RR. Pat Rice has been called up to the bench today.
