Think we could all see Alexis needed a rest. It was so obvious. Wenger can try and hide behind the "he said he was fit and wanted to play" comment as much as he likes, it's doesn't wash with me. Again it's another excuse for him to not take responsibility for something he's cocked up on. Arsene Wenger is the manager, not Alexis Sanchez. Poor management.

Danny Welbeck reported to be out until at least February. What the fuck is going on in that medical centre?

Yep, its a sad state of affairs. but is it really the medical staff's fault?

The succession of incorrect diagnosis should have resulted in changes long time ago, either of staff or procedure.
This has happened on a small scale but here we go again with another player whose return was vastly understated.
I don't know why AW isnt hopping mad about the situation!

Should we pay off Wilshere's contract? Now out until February but even then won't be ready until March

Probably, he's too much of a lightweight to stay fit for any length of time.

Just read that AW has said Alexis could play v Sunderland
Arteta is back in the squad.
Coquelin is back running again.
Welbeck/Rosicky end of January.
Cazorla will be back mid February.
Wilshere will be back in February

For me the best news is that Coquelin is back running!!!!

has there ever been an injured player at arsenal who hasn't suffered a 'setback'

i'll odds it that we will not see Sanchez now for at least another 3 weeks.

there must be something in our recovery training that hinders rather than helps these players.

Could be worse. We could have the GOAT going for the world record in the most amount of hamstrings pulled in the shortest amount of time !

Big Sam has blamed the `soft German` for his intensive pressing regime causing the hamstrings

Not sure he should be making assumptions like that. Heard it mentioned earlier that lallana says it could be the extra effort being given, to impress the new 'reputable' manager, that is the problem. Interesting theory.

I`m getting a bit concerned about Sanchez AW keeps saying `he is very, very close` then when the game comes up he says `he is not quite there` is there something going on?
