Arsenal v Leicester (where's the golden girl)

Apologies to Phoenix if she is about to put this up.
New season new hope and full support until it all goes wrong again.
First game always tricky but should beat these and go top.

No Sanchez, Ozil and Ramsey doubtful, Koscielny banned could be tricky.

How can we go into another season without a senior CB. Shambles. Ball give. Away far too easily by our midfield.

Welbeck needs to start putting chances away as well.

Holding too. His passing is pretty bad. Hes given it away 3 or 4 times in dangerous positions. Leicester smell blood here and i can see them going for another couple

Loving these deep corners that go over our whole attack.

Part of Holdings problem was that Bellerin was so high up the pitch most of the time he never had an out ball.

No recognised centre back on the pitch at present

We were better when he went off. A young player like him should never be thrown into a back three with monreal and kolasinac. Glad we got the three points but seriously not good enough. At least 2 more players needed.

Just got home and I'm more hoarse than I've been for probably decades. A very exciting game for the neutral but it looks like the refusal to coach defending is still there. Why are there never defenders on the posts for corners? It really is basic as is passing to your own players, not the opponents. Happy for three points but having to score four goals to win will make life very difficult.

Holding is a good player, can we please give him a chance, part of Arsenals problems recently has been fans giving a lot of shit to young players to need pitch time to develop their talents. Holding is a tank when he has the right support ahead of him as we saw in the community shield. A good 3-4-3 needs a solid midfield who come back to give defenders a good passing option

We looked alot better when we went back to 4 3 2 1. Lacazette and Giroud should play together. The super sub is great but it's not going to work every game

3 at the back works when we have centre halves playing there but neither kolasinac nor Monreal are centre halves and boy did it show

Great game to watch for the neutrals but murder for the fans. Our defending was shambolic and Holding was awful but he is young and will learn. I like` The Tank` he will turn out to be a good acquisition. What a great impact player Giroud is and he says he wants to stay which is good news.

His distribution is poor,

He needs players to show for the ball , the middle players last night were so far away from him and Ox and Bellerin were caught upfield too often . 1 nil up up in the first minute and we went into kamikaze mode.

Got away with it last night with that defence.
Agree with Potter about holding getting no support .
When the three at the back formation is done with decipline it works great creating a five at the back when needed.
Thought Czech looked poor and lacks being a commanding figure with crosses and the team as captain.
