Arsenal v Burnley official next match thread

Mr Wengers last ever home match against our now biggest rivals Burnley.
Anti climax after the Europa disappointment and I suppose it will feel like a Wenger type testimonial .
Should get a rousing reception and have his name sung for most of the game, but that didn't really happen in the last home game against the Hammers.
Result wise do we care ?
Who plays do we care ?
“ Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack. A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith, for Thomas, charging through the midfield. Thomas, it's up for grabs now! Thomas! ”

I read today that tickets are going for £1800 I find that hard to believe. I do think, however, that it will be a full house.

We're all getting commemorative T shirts, no wonder the tickets are gold dust!

Great result and quality send off for Mr Wenger.

That all got a bit emotional. They could, however, have got him something new to present to him rather than something they found in a cupboard in the boardroom. Get the booing for the yank but why Sir Chips?

P.S. Nice quality t shirt but I doubt I'll wear it again!

People were booing ? There are some really strange people within the football community. Everton supporters are good example of the modern football fan, as are a very large percentage of Gooners.

Oh well, nothing like a 5-0 win when it's fairly meaningless. Bring on the new Manager.

Very emotional afternoon. Whatever you think about AW he has class he began his speech with a tribute to Sir Alex. I hoped our new coach (probably Klopps assistant) learns to love the club as much as Arsene.
