If he had Theo`s pace he would be a world beater

When we play to his strengths he is an excellent striker. Not great with his back to goal and lacking in pace but give him the right service he is an excellent one touch finisher. Today's effort was incredible.

Agree with the above when we play to his strengths he's excellent, don't understand why he's suddenly been dropped when he is on such fine form at the moment esp to keep Theo and Iwobi in team who aren't playing well at all.

He certainly hasn`t pace but his goal-scoring record is good. This season in the Premiership he has played 17 times (11 as sub) and scored 8 goals which is a good return. Although I don`t think he should be our main striker when we have brought him on he has the knack of scoring a crucial goal.

I hear plenty saying that he is a good plan B. I disagree. The shape of the team, the quality of attack across the middle and sides should be more than enough of a plan B,C,D,E,F. Let's get faster, clever players in who can tear apart defences. Giroud is a good striker but he changes the way we play too much. Having Giroud in front of Ozil is such a waste of Ozil's talent IMO.
