Then he doesn't even seem to care that he's messing up. Still his first season so I'm not saying get rid but Podolski should be our man through the middle.

Agree with this apart from the caring part. His reactions after a miss infuriate me the most. Just get up and try win the ball back ffs!

funny how people see him as the above yet rvp has just been through an 11 game drought and is not consider as such. don't get me wrong the frenchie is not in his class but his goal tally for a first season is not bad.

As mentioned back in Oct, he is pretty much the same as Bendtner. Will score goals, however in the really big and decisive games, is not the player who will create something from nothing.

That's no fault of his, as there are very strikers in the prem who can do that and unless you are prepared to pay the 25/30 million for these players then you have to go with what we have..

Done well for his first season and will hopefully improve. He's a good player !

I thought he worked hard last night, although moaning about the service one minute then not being in the six yard box when a perfect pass rolls across the goal mouth then next minute is :banghead2:

This is whats wrong with the team. We dont have time for a player to improve anymore, i want a quality striker who will hit the target all the time! Regardless if the keeper saves, just hit the bloody target! We need trophies, sick of this "in a few years when the players have improved, we'll be up there" :banghead2: :banghead2: :banghead2:

As I've said previously a good enough player who will get better, but his period of adaptation has already cost us goals and points.

I don't think it is. The Everton game was an example. He should of atleast got one out of his chances. I still rate him, I just get annoyed that he can miss some real sitters. I think next season he will be fine although he needs a partner up there.

Mate, it's just fact. I'm not having a dig at the bloke, but to have a real chance at success this season we needed a top striker that could hit the ground running. I still think he'll be a good player for us, I just wouldn't have him 1st choice. It's more of an indictment on Wenger than Giroud.

Needs to show more urgency and a higher work rate off the ball. Can look lazy at times.

sounds like a few of our players. Hopefully this will pass if new hard working additions are added to the squad.

Different Giroud seems to have turned up after his hols, having a great start to the season and his work rate seems to have gone up 100% never stops trying and tracking back. Maybe the goals is giving him confidence. Loved seeing how happy he looked about today's win as well.

He was absolutely fantastic today. Didn't stop running. Best performance in an Arsenal shirt imo. :afcbanner:

Loving Giroud's passion, he's putting in so much effort every game this season and doing so much better in front of goal.

I think everyone agrees he works hard, holds the ball up well, brings team mates into play so he is a good all round player with one exception he misses too many chance.I`m not saying he should be dropped but he must become more clinical then he would be one of the best.
