the only time i am happy to see him, is when Wenger is dragging off Sanogo after 65 minutes and bringing Giroud on

It's funny how people look at the same thing but see something so different.

We miss Giroud, he offers so much to the team that so many ignore it's no surprise our attack doesn't look as good without him in it.

Good to see him back on Saturday. Thought he played well and worked hard.

Stupid seeing Welbeck on the wing though. He's not a winger (Sigh, here we go again). One of the main reasons he left Yanited was because he was being played In the wrong position. He's going to love Wenker.

This is what happens when you start to get too negative. You need to watch the game again, FR. Welbeck DID NOT play on the wing.

That's true he seemed to have a roving role which seemed to work.He was certainly in a Strikers position to head the goal

He was all over the pitch, aye RR. The lad certainly puts a shift in. Like the way he does his best to rectify a mistake by chasing the ball down.

Very much liked Sanchez the two of them are like a couple of angry wasps buzzing all over the field.

Ok maybe I was a bit hasty. (Didn't see the game due to work so only saw the team sheet)

On the subject of work rate, Alexis' work rate is probably up there with the best I've ever seen. Phenomenal.

I agree. It's difficult to name a player who hasn't worked very hard these past few games. The two full-backs are machines too. Quite a positive.

I just love him he works so hard his finishing has improved so much this season and his hold up play is brilliant, him and Rambo link up together so well we've missed that this season.

Took his goal really well last night :applaude:, with his right foot  . Still needs to come TO the ball when it's played on the deck to him.

We are a much better team going forward with this man on the pitch. He does so much for our game. His touch and hold up play is amazing!!!

Wouldn't go that far , but we are better with him than without.

I see Giroud was booed from the field by his own French fans when he was substituted on 62 minutes

Missed a few chances and lost the ball for the Serbian goal.

During last years World Cup he was lambasted by the French media as not being good enough fot them.
