Some deft touches with his back to goal last night.

His 1st goal was brilliant. It was a finish that reminded me of that tawt that was here last season. Hope he keeps it up.

Every time I start to give up on Giroud he pops up with a few goals. I do hope he gets better though.

Giroud is a bit of an enigma a few games games not very good and then a very good game like against West Ham.I have decided to give him to next season before making any judgements

He's so up and down at the minute but Pires promises he's a good player and I remember how he struggled his first season. He's showing enough to be giving more time, his assists are impressive didn't realise he had 9.

He's looked good the last couple of games, although I don't think we should rely on him as our only striker.

True but we certainly don't want to rest him now either. This could be the beginning of a hot streak for him and the past couple of games he has shown some real quality finishes that we were seeing from him that went to manc land.

Was wondering if anyone else thinks (dispite his lack of threat atm) he's looking slightly more confident? His passes and ludicrous shots seem born of a belief in his ability rather than vain attempt. Yes i know he still needs to stop being such a flange, just wondering about that point.

I'm starting to agree but then again, the dutch cnut wasn't all that until the last 2 seasons. Let's just see how he gets on to the end of the season, he's still got a few goals to his name.

That was because of van Persie`s non-ending injury problems. We have to stick with Giroud until the end of the season and I hope he proves me wrongh

4 goals behind the marquee signing not too bad for a cumbersome frenchie. he ain't the best but he will prove to be a useful squad player. fact

He never stops working hard and trying, yes he misses chances but so does every striker and doesn't help at times when he has no players running off him he deserves another season.

We must buy an experienced goal-scoring striker for next season and Giroud can be his back up.we can`t chance Giroud will come good.

+1
I would rather see the Aussiedler given a chance to play up top.

Proper competition for the place can only be a good thing. Giroud would have to prove his worth. A top striker and a CDM would top my shopping list.

Agree with that Wilko. Add a good experienced keeper to that and i'll be happy.
