He is already looking like he has been at Arsenal for years. Lets hope it can continue because he could help erase the memory of RVP quicker than expected. All this talk of time to adapt is crap when a player has class. Well done so far Lukas!

Who's RVP? we have a younger, less injury prone German who is starting to fire consistently.

If he keeps this up then we definately don't need to worry about where the goals will come from.

As much as anything it's the way he's linked up with the other two new guys almost immediately. Very encouraging.

strength, power and quality the boy is a star, has attributes that have been missing from the squad for far too long.

Works hard which is great to see, it's no coincidence that Gibbs looks the part now with someone like him infront as opposed to a lazy player (mentioning no names)

wasn't cologne he's home team, maybe he felt he needed to give something back to them, after he's career at Munich went pear shaped.

Wished we had snapped up Klose as well, because i think together they would of been the dogs bollocks for us

Agree, Gibbs looks so much more confident now
“ Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack. A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith, for Thomas, charging through the midfield. Thomas, it's up for grabs now! Thomas! ”

A little TOO confident imo. His constant desire to get forward hardly leaves Pod any option BUT to cover him but in the event of them both being caught up field, it drags TV5 out of position. Sincerely hope he is more disciplined on Sunday and let Pod do what he's proven so good at in his actual position. We'll need it.

understand what you mean and to be honest im not Gibbs greatest fan.
last season it was more of a problem but with Arteta covering (a thing song never understood)it has looked less so.
The midfield is working so hard to cover, it has given Gibbs etc that confidence to play without fear.

Fast becomming one of my favourite player's I wanted us to sign him when he left Bayern but he seems worth the wait. Such a hard worker aswell always tracking back. Still more to come as he gets more used to our system.
