nah i don't buy that. he completely and utterly dominated suarez this season at anfield. infact thats the only time i've seen suarez completely marked out of a game this season.

I expect Suarez had an off day

The bloke is a serious weak link in a fragile team. Replace him first in the summer.

Verm and his constant diving in is getting embarrassing now. It's something you see in Sunday league. If he stayed on his foooking feet, he would be 10x better.

every single defender we have at the club at the moment, has gone backwards - I have no confidence in any of our CB pairings

Our best period last season was whilst PM was injured and Kos and T.V. were given time together.

Very little mention of the BFG nearly blowing it with his clumsy footwork and collapse. Watching him try and get himself up in what seemed like super-slow-mo was one of the most difficult parts of the match. Hopefully we invest in a better option over the summer.

Yes he is slow but he reads the game brilliantly thats why he has so many Caps for Germany and Germany do not Cap rubbish players. All players make mistakes even the God Like Steven Gerrard and his falling over probably cost Liverpool the Premiership.

I didn't call him rubbish, RR. The guy is a good CB and the international game suits him. But the football in this country, particularly at the top of the PL, is different to international footy. He's much like Arteta imo - holds his own against the also-rans but we need a better option when playing the top sides. Or he needs a better protector in front of him.

He made a mistake and slipped it happens, he's had a strong season and him and Kos are growing as a pair all the time there is no way we need to invest in anyone to replace him.

If you're right then we need shot of Arteta.

still can't get over the BFG making you look a mug with your dissmissive attitude twowards him. his slip was a shocker which was compounded by the idiot we had in goal (and yes bilbo was right to play him but he's still an idiot)

About a year ago I said we wouldn't succeed in either the PL or the CL if Per and Arteta were mainstays in our team. They were and we didn't ! No mug here. Replace these two, or bin Mikel and at least get someone capable of doing Per's running for him, and we can do something in both aforementioned competitions. Don't, and we won't !

Only you and a few choice others would compare replacing a slow, 30-something midfielder with replacing a Manager. Straight out of the tottscum book of how to run a football club.

You really need to go to bed earlier louder, as you're beginning to see things that aren't there.
