Was a very good debut which couldnt have been easy for him, 1 because he was against a rugby team and 2 we were at home, so expectation was fairly high!

Like i said, good debut, but i'll judge him at the end of the season.

I agree good debut and made some good runs hopefully with a few more training sessions they'll notice how he makes his runs so pick him out more. To early to tell how he will defend though which is more important. Let's hope yesterday was a sign of good things.

i'll give it a month, before he is running around like a lunatic and getting all nervous, like those other cretins he has to play alongside

I thought that as well.

Decent debut for me. He gets bonus points for making a Stoke player bleed.

Yep. Never went down until the game was stopped, unlike a lot of players these days.

Not bad, few decent crosses with nobody running in to get onto them. Played better when Jack and Santi came on too. He linked up with them.

I thought he played well today, he got forward and made some nice runs behind the defence.

Very promising. Works hard, good positional sense, and, can cross a ball.

Fitting in well with our defence dropped back instead of trying to block for the Villa goal then today just let Lennon run off him without making a real effort to get back. Looks good going forward but has to realise defending comes first.

Bottled at least two 50/50's last night. Bit of a coward.

I thought he was excellent last 2 games. Sensible defender with great positional sense and alertness to danger. Sometimes not tackling is better than diving in BTW.
me neither
