gave the ball away a lot

Who would you replace him with Radish?

a better younger full back

:biglol:

So who would that be?

Stephan Lichtsteiner

For a start, he's 30.

And he's an attacking right back, he isn't know for his defending. Sagna is a much better option.

Only Ivanovic and Zabaletta are better RB in the PL, I would take a gamble on Micah Richards if he got fit

Coleman from Everton would be my choice although his defensive side needs a lot of work. Sagna is gone for me taking far to long, I rate him as a player and think he'll be a big miss.

He would be a big loss mate.

You really shouldn't occupy yourself with the wage thing all the time. Are you saying that if he would accept less then you'd keep him ?

Sagna is good right now but age is a killer for pace based roles like fullback. Whatever we offer we'll have to pay for the whole contract not just next year. Other players have taken what's on offer from the club...there is loads of talent out there and always will be.

Reports say that Man City have offered Sagna a three year deal if he goes there maybe we can get Richards in exchange

Forget Richards he was always over rated and completely injury prone we have enough players fighting for the treatment table!

I like Sagna, but if the bloke is stalling on a new deal and wants a mega buck deal, to be city number 2 RB behind Zabaletta, then fuck off.

Come on Sagna, sign on! I'd like him to stay but apart from that I don't want the added expense of needing to replace him this summer. We have more pressing needs.

A three year deal at 80k a week is a great deal in my opinion. Equivalent to what 4 million p.a. 12m over three years.

I found his "we have finally woken up" comment very revealing. This is about the strength of the squad more than money surely?

simples really if City want Sagna and prepared to offer him £100k, we should let the greedy, so and so leave
