Good shout. Some people on here are doing their usual slagging routine though.

Great assist to Giroud yesterday, did a better job there than Monreal has been doing esp defending. I hope we don't lose him in the summer he's a quality player.

won't stay if he can't get regular first team football. How can he continue as club captain, when he isn't playing

Merts should get the job,

I think he can do a decent job at CB too. Although we need better in the middle imho. If we were going on your opinion and LB is his only option then he or Monreal would probably need leave. I'd lose nacho.

Not a CB, his positional sense is lousy there. Would deffo get rid of Monreal, been a liability this season.

went off injured today after starting for Belgium he just can't seem to stay fit, I like him but if the man u rumors of £7m are true I think we should take it hints are he won't sign a new contract so would seem a good deal for us and that surely would buy us a replacement who would be available when we need him.

Probably to do with hurting himself in the warm up.

Yeah, hurting ones self in a warm-up would be a good reason for going off injured. Strange how he started the game if he was injured before it kicked off though. Maybe they thought it was worth seeing if he could run it off, so to speak.

I take it you didn't see him laying on the ground and the staff running over to him then?

TV has still not played for Barca, injured all season. Makes a change to be on the right side of a transfer.

shame, he was seen as a cult hero when he joined and was a free scoring CB, but due to injuries he's finished. I am surprise knowing our track record we didn't offer him a 5 year deal
