Needs to get a grip. Take a look at the 22 year old Götze.

Hope he has seen the light and will put his head down this season.
I reckon that's as long as he will get from Wenger. Certainly that's about all I will give him unless I see a player working on his game and himself.

Come on wake up Jack!

Kos smokes, so does Giroud (big FO cigars). Maybe they should also be chastised.

Yeah they should. Smoking has no benefit and athletes who want to get to and remain at the very top wouldn't touch them. Knowledge and experience is there for everyone now - what is wrong with them that they need this in their lives?

But they are not in the papers regarding it. It's not so much the fact he is smoking as the fact that he denied smoking publicly and then got caught out doing it again . Nothing the press like more than building up a person and then being handed the opportunity to knock them down again.

It would be foolish to think otherwise

What you say about the press is true but the fact is he promised AW he would cut it out but got caught out again. As for Kos and Giroud smoking imagine how good they might be if they didn`t smoke

There are some differences:
1. If they do they do it privately
2. Thus, they have not publicly lied about it
3. If does not obviously affect their performances (accept many would not agree)
4. They don't have personalities that scream prima Dona or body language that screams boyo masking insecurity and inferiority.

Could the club not engage someone he respects to give him some life coaching. Like too many before him he is lacking in this department. Just getting older will not be enough I fear.

But this isn't the Kos or Giroud thread

Suarez is a great player who goes around biting people. Should they all do that as well ? (Probably should be discussed on a Suarez thread :? )

Saga part 2 looked like a cigar - ello. An up yours and then back early to training.

Are we impressed?

I couldn't care less so long as he performs consistently on the pitch. Flashes of potential don't wash anymore.

Why can't you be honest and realistic about him FOYS?

I am being honest and realistic about him. Others, yourself included, are going OTT. His performances has nothing to do with him having a puff.

I think the whole thing was tacky especially Joe Hart dribbling drink from his own mouth into Jack`s.

I see it all as interrelated. His performances have everything to do with his attitude and attitudes influences behaviour.
It is exactly this separation of mindset - behaviour - performance that leads to under- achievement in talented people. Jack needs to get his attitude right if he is to reach his full potential. He has already started the blame game - in public! We don't have much of a time window open to us if we are to save him from his misconceived notions of his place in the scheme of things.

He has not got the right people around him, just like Gascoigne, DAFT as a brush..... :nodding:

Someone in his camp likes to pass photos around!
