Does anyone want to take this over, as the responsibility can be overwhelming.
Just getting the write up to press in time is nerve racking and the thought of letting down the millions of followers this thread has,can be to much for a mere mortal like myself.
Any takers, please any takers,anyone........anyone......... Is anyone out there............

I have too much on my plate with the predictor league, having to work out all those points twice a week is hugely time consuming so not me I'm afraid.

Brilliant RR
Will Enery chuck the new boys in and give it a go against a team we should be beating if we are going anywhere this season.
Looking forward to the start of the season.

3 points, very forgettable but onwards and upwards! Clean sheet very welcome. Newcastle weren't stern opposition but the experience will help the newbies and the younger players who started.

1-0 to the Arse but poor performance, luckily Newcastle were just as bad as us.

Best part of today for me was the play of Chambers , AMN , Willock and Nelson . They will not be starters all season as the first teamers come back but they proved their credentials today.

Thought we got away with this one.
Gamble on playing mostly our carling cup side and it just about worked.
Some sloppy play giving the ball away far to often and the worse offender was mickyimnotanygoodreally.
Agree about Chambers that he had a good game.

My man of the match was Leno he made one excellent save and everything else he dealt with without making any mistakes.

Arsenal v Burnley Saturday 17th August 12.30 KO
The visitors were founded 18th May 1882 and were one of the founding members of the Football League in 1888
Nicknamed the Clarets because their shirts are Claret and Blue (not a lot of thought went into the decision)
Burnley won the old 1st Division in 1920/21 and 1959/60. They won the FA Cup in 1914 (although that had nothing to do with WW1 breaking out). They won the Community Shield in 1960 and 1973 and reached the quarter finals of the European Cup in 1961.
Home Ground is Turf Moor which has a capacity of 22,000
Burnley are one of only five Clubs who have won all of the old top four professional divisions
The Owner and Directors are all local men (and women if applicable)
Manager Sean Dyche was appointed in 2012
Our Home record against Burnley is: P.43 W.26 D.8 L.9 F.93 A.46

Very interesting RR. A proper football club if ever there was one. On a tangent, can you find out why PNE have "PP" on their badge? I'd do it myself if it wasn't for this damned idleness.

The PP on Preston`s badge is Latin for Princeps Pacis meaning Jesus. However, the Press interpreted it as PROUD PRESTON and that version has stuck.

Need to play better than we did against Newcastle,
Interesting to see if the new boys start and who gets left out.

Think we may see Laca and Torreira back but have to wait for Pepe and Luiz.
Would love to see a moving, passing, beautiful game of football.

Thanks. RR was thinking in terms of him starting and us getting a better idea of his skills and how Unai wants to play him and with whom.
