Something's gone wrong but I don't think Maureen is the answer. If Dick has "lost the dressing room" it will be fairly cheap to oust him as he only has nine months left on his contract. It's also odd how many of the big clubs have turned to shit this season; Us, manure, even wannabe N17.

Could be an important game in Enery Arsenal Career,a poor loss without any spirit could signal the beginning of the end.
A win with a great performance could spark his and the clubs revival.

I have to say the big question is have we gone forwards or backwards under Emery ? We’ve spent a lot of money recently on positions that arguably didn’t need strengthening while leaving the back line and midfield to dwindle into below mediocrity.

After all 1 shot on target in a whole game against Leicester...

I would say backwards, sack him NOW:
- we still can't defend
- poor managing of senior and young players
- We are creating less chances
- we are losing ground on a top 4 spot (although other teams like ManU and Spurs having issues)
- I cannot see a clear game strategy or philosophy

Well statistically we've stood still but the football seems to have deteriorated. My feeling is that he's lost the dressing room so no-one recovers from that. Nine months left on his contract means he will be cheap to let go. The squad of players he has should be good enough to at least play exciting football and hold on to a lead.

Our next four Prem games are:

Saints (H) 19th
Norwich (A) 20th
Brighton (H) 11th
W.Ham (A) 12th

If we don`t get at least nine points (but hopefully 12) Emery must go.

I agree he'd need to go before the start of the January transfer window. I never thought I'd say it but right now I'd take Mourinho as a stop-gap while bringing in a ambitious ex-player (say Vierra, Henry or Bergkamp) as an Assistant Manager with the intention of them taking over in 2 years

Unless Dennis has got over his fear of flying he is a non-starter. I love Thierry but he has no experience at managing a football club let alone a big club like Arsenal. Of the three I think Vieira would be the best bet.

Vierra, Henry, Bergkamp, 3 Arsenal legends, but I'm not sure if they will make it at the top level of management,
I would go for Arteta, he should have learnt enough from Pep, one of the very best.

Bergkamp has said he doesn't want a number 1 job. Henry got the sack as Monaco's manager with them bottom of the table iirc, and Vieira's Nice are struggling in 13th place.

Wouldn't have Mourinho anywhere near the club, as our promising academy players won't get a look in, plus in a couple of years of him, the changing room will be absolutely toxic.

Leno is probably the greatest Goalie who has ever lived. I thought we shaded it 1st half but 2nd half we were under the cosh especially the last twenty minutes. That Pooki is a very good player but I wouldn`t want someone with such a stupid name to play for Arsenal. Freddie is still unbeaten since he took over.

Leno was super, and even though the same problems were still there the attitude was a lot better.
On the downside I thought Fred's substitutions disrupted us rather than pushing us on to win the game.

I don't know, it wasn't the team selection I expected but it worked quite well for a while until the usual backing off from attackers and more or less inviting a shot started happening as usual. That seemed to be addressed in the second half but the substitutions weren't timed well or particularly game-changing. A bit of an improvement overall and we're not losing (just drawing 2-2) so hopefully we'll be top by March.

Anything but a win and I thinks that's Fred's chance gone.

Should have had three penalties by now.

I'm still not happy with where players have been positioned.
Ozil should not be on left wing.
I'd drop Lacazette.

Need pace in the front 3

Any manager picking Bellerin is making big mistake. Every player on the pitch needs support, and that includes Xhaka...but Torriera seems to think he's playing Ozil's role !!! This team has all the tools to do well (bar RB), but it needs to seriously work on shape and pattern of play on losing the ball, and generally without the ball. The players are slowly breaking in this first half.

The next manager needs to make big changes.

I wouldn't have any of this back 4 in my first choice team.
Torreira is a holding midfielder. nothing else.
Ozil should only play in the 10 role. If he doesn't perform, then drop him.

If not playing 2 up front, only one of Aubameyang or Lacazette should play.

For 2nd half I'd bring on Saka/Martinelli, move Torreira to protect back 4 and tell him to sit, and move Ozil to 10.
Wenger out!!
