One of our bogey teams. They are in the ascendant, thanks to the not-so special one, while we are in the descendent, thanks to the Deluded One. I am not even travelling in hope. MU to add to our misery, and, embarrassment. Hopefully, another step towards the end of Arsene PLC.

I wouldn`t say they are in the ascendant I watched them against the Saints and they looked pretty ordinary to me. They are five points ahead of us, we have a game in hand beat them on Sunday and we would be a point ahead of them. City are six points ahead of us playing a game more and the same goes for Liverpool so top four is still within reach. Chelsea and Spurs are the form teams and the rest of us are pretty ordinary. However, mighty Spurs will probably finish the season potless while we could bring home the FA Cup. I know we were embarrassingly poor Sunday but who really expected us to beat City in the SF?

Jose will be smelling blood and will stick the knife into his old foe.

What will make this bad is that they have a game on Thursday and they will still put in more effort.

I was thinking that when I started watching them last night. I did switch off at half-time. Had enough of it all.

The curse has been put to bed. Never again will Mourinho beat Arsene. The first half was pretty mind numbing but we picked it up a bit in the 2nd and were worthy winners. United had a Right Back with a weird name but I thought he looked a very good considering it was his 1st eleven debut.

Surprising win if I'm honest, didn't see it coming at all, didn't think it was a great first half but it was good in the second half.

Atmosphere seemed very subdued for long periods, feels like people are so deflated by what's going on.

Nice to see Jose and their crap unbeaten run ended.

Ox stood out for me, he's really looking influential now.

Pleasant surprise and always nice to best Utd, Agree about the Ox who has found his position at last.

“ Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack. A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith, for Thomas, charging through the midfield. Thomas, it's up for grabs now! Thomas! ”
