I'm already hiding behind the sofa and that's just for WBA.

Pepe must not be fit and Nelson must be going on loan. No Balogun in the squad but two GKs on the bench?

Wenger out!!

Could have been worse I suppose. This was always going to be damage limitation.

Xhaka sending off was silly and going in 2 footed was always going to go one way.

The 2nd goal shouldn't have stood, it was literally a punch in the face.

Oh well....on to the next game...

Embarrassing would be an understatement, players so far out of their depth they would struggle to get promoted from the Championship, which could be the test next season.

Defining game up next against Norwich yes Norwich not Spurs Liverpool or even Leicester,we are talking Norwich.

Lose would be even more Embarrassing but would see Arteta sacked and a new manager who surely couldn't do any worse brought in,.

Win and he gets another lifeline until the next catastrophe and by then it could be too late.

“ Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack. A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith, for Thomas, charging through the midfield. Thomas, it's up for grabs now! Thomas! ”

I had a feeling 5-0 before the game but still backed us...maybe this ain't the season gambling lol.

In any case, having watched the game again, I'd say the only players who can truly hold their heads up after that are ESR and Holding. Leno kept the score down in the second half.

I'm assuming fitness played its part as to why Lokonga and Tavares didn't play having played Wednesday night? I don't care how well he played in the Euros. Elneny is better than Xhaka for us...which says it all about our squad depth.

With so many players out it was always going to be a struggle but jeeeeeez...just show some heart lads.

Hoping this international break gives us a chance to regroup and get players back and try and show some character.

Shocking performance.

im taking a positive out of the first few games though - they won’t get any harder than that, and best to get them out of the way now.

im hoping we can regroup and start to go on a run after the international break.
