Anything but a win and I thinks that's Fred's chance gone.

“ Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack. A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith, for Thomas, charging through the midfield. Thomas, it's up for grabs now! Thomas! ”

Should have had three penalties by now.

I'm still not happy with where players have been positioned.
Ozil should not be on left wing.
I'd drop Lacazette.

Need pace in the front 3

Wenger out!!

Any manager picking Bellerin is making big mistake. Every player on the pitch needs support, and that includes Xhaka...but Torriera seems to think he's playing Ozil's role !!! This team has all the tools to do well (bar RB), but it needs to seriously work on shape and pattern of play on losing the ball, and generally without the ball. The players are slowly breaking in this first half.

The next manager needs to make big changes.

I wouldn't have any of this back 4 in my first choice team.
Torreira is a holding midfielder. nothing else.
Ozil should only play in the 10 role. If he doesn't perform, then drop him.

If not playing 2 up front, only one of Aubameyang or Lacazette should play.

For 2nd half I'd bring on Saka/Martinelli, move Torreira to protect back 4 and tell him to sit, and move Ozil to 10.

Wenger out!!

Clueless, painful to watch,Fred blown it unless a miracle happens in the second half.

I'll switch it around and put Ozil and Luiz as the two in midfield, it would be great to watch and either be genius or a nightmare.
But at least something different.
Agree about Bellerin looking very poor

Leno has improved. I'd keep him.

Bellerin and Kolasinac are wingbacks. Neither is a full back and neither should play in a 442- 352 only. New RB from outside the club required.

Chambers and Holding are our best CBs. Saliba to come yet. Luiz should never play at CB. He's shit.

Tierney first choice LB all day long.

Torreira at DM. Nowhere else.

Guendouzi/Willock alongside. Sit in a 4-2-3-1 away or against top quality opposition. 433 otherwise.

Ozil should be dropped if he doesn't perform. Should only play as a 10

Pepe needs to play more than 15mins. Otherwise Saka/Nelson/Martinelli need a chance.

Martinelli needs a chance. Particularly good in the air. Especially as Tierney is our best crosser.

Wenger out!!

Keep Leno ? I'm not so sure it'll be the Club's decision if he stays, or more likely, goes. He's our best 'keeper since David Seaman.

I don't mind Kolasinac at LB as he brings some aggression to an otherwise soft team. The problem, whether you play him or Tierney, is the same problem right throughout the team - No mutual support. If you leave any player to fend for himself then he's gonna struggle. I mentioned that Xhaka has the same problem in the middle - completely deserted of support, which also means exposure for the CBs. I don't think Torriera is the answer in the holding role as he's still young and needs time. His enthusiasm for covering ground overrides his positional discipline. I've already bashed Bellerin in the past 24hrs so I'll just reiterate that he's no RB.
These three problems are possible to resolve this season. Sort it, or we could lose the world class players we have. IMHO this Arsenal squad is excellent.

It's incredibly difficult to raise enthusiasm for any game right now . It's almost like a penance that has to be suffered for something we did years ago.
It's kind of self flagelistic .

It would be foolish to think otherwise
