Great insight there Radford, anything intelligent to post about the game and how/why we lost yesterday?

whats there to post? its the same every year. give me £8 million a year and i'll slove the problem. but hell no they give the idiot the money and he constantly serves up plates of s***t.

is it so hard to bulid a decent squad with the money we have? is it so difficult to have at least an ounce of tactical acumen? wenger is a busted flush, everyone knows it except the sycophants like louder.

We ain't even playground bullies anymore. Can't beat Spurs or Leicester. Lucky against Palace and Everton too.

It's over for Wenger, shame not everyone can see it but it's the truth. To be in early October and already out of the title race with the players and resources we have is nothing but shameful. That falls directly on Wengers head.

Hopefully the penny will drop sooner rather than later.

Doesn`t that apply to every other Club in the Premiership with the exception of maybe Man City?

But i'm talking about us RR. We shouldn't be dead and buried by early Oct, not with all our resources etc. Just shouldn't be happening.

Stupid thread title as usual, but there is an element of truth in the thread (not intentionally I suspect).

We are the 3rd or 4th best team in the league this year.

So yes, most weeks we will beat the bad teams, and we will struggle against some of the best teams. It annoys me when people get carried away when we beat teams, and it annoys me that people get so distraught when we lose to teams that are better than us.

But then Chelsea and City have spent billions to get their squads, so what can we do?

If we are better than Liverpool, Man U this season that we will be the Fair Play champions, that's how I see it. We will be the best team to have done it from within our own resources. There's a lot to be said for that and it is something we could still be proud of. Not many fans see it that way, but I do. Chelsea and City have been finaancially doping for years and that has nothing to do with sport.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to beat them. Of course we should. But we need to play the long game. It won't happen overnight. FFP will help though.

Allguns on the subject of Radford supporting Chelsea in Rome : "Having a look at other teams broadens your horizons and gives you a different slant on games or perhaps he loves football in general, and I know he has a softspot for WHU"

The highlighted bit is very poignant. I don't think it's unfair or incorrect to say that some people on here don't even enjoy the win these days. In fact they don't seem to have done for some time now. I love it when we win and it disappoints me when we lose or draw. Some people lack even this regular balance in their lives.
