Personally I like him. Had a few doubts about team selection but for a new manager taking over arguably the hardest job in the league in terms of squad imbalance and personal, he's done ok so far.

I love his interviews and the connection he seems to have with the players. I'm impressed with the signings of Gabriel and Partey (not sure letting Martinez go was up to him 100%) think he had a bit of luck with bans and covid forcing him to play the youngsters. But now they've been in the spotlight he seems ready to let them shine.

Summer will be massive for him. In the current climate I don't expect the world but definitely some movement for grafters (not necessarily stars)

Overall I'm prepared to give him time

Got to give him time and he really is a good when it comes to the youngsters.

That maybe he is able to control and guide them easier than some of the established pros.

I think Martinez was a poor decision and also the effort to get Willian looks misjudged.

But I think he has rode the bad times well and this time next year would be the time to judge him.

You have to give him time to see what the situation is at the end of the season. Even if we finish mid-table he deserves another season.

I like him.

Has made some poor decisions and has a bit of double-standards around work ethic.

I don't think he'd have signed Pepe.

There's the makings of a really good squad here with some additions.

Wenger out!!

Love to see him succeed, don't want us to be like that lot from SW London. Hopefully he can go on any replicate the trophies that a previous Arsenal midfielder did when he was our manager.

It's far too early to judge Arteta yet. Fat Frank spent a huge amount of money for no benefit to the club. Arteta has bought well and in positions that needed strengthening but he needs another summer before being criticised too heavily. That spell at the end of last year was worrying but it seems to have encouraged him not to persevere with Willian or Pepe. Patience is not in abundance in football but he should at least get another year. He inherited a bit of a mess and I expect him to sort it out long term.

Don't like him, didn't want him, not impressed with him.

How much time does he deserve? 11 defeats in 26 should mean not much, I know Emery had his critics but he turned around a team that finished 6th, 12 points from 4th to one that finished 5th, 1 point from 4th in his first season, the second season the players threw him under the bus a little but he was barely out of thr top 6 with all the issues he had with Ozil & not getting his players.

Arteta seems to be getting a free pass because he played for the club but let's be honest, he wasn't that great a player so why can't he be judged? Even in their bad years Emery & Wenger were never this bad & the excuse that he's not been backed is just not true, he's had a lot more than what Unai got so shouldn't be allowed to hide behind a 'process'

Saw a great quote, the only difference between him & Emery is he won his final, Emery didn't, its no better & you could make a strong argument that it is worse.

I am disappointed but not surprised , his tactics are inflexible and his team selections and substitutions are not inspiring. He seems to be tarred with the 70 minute substitution slot and rarely changes his playing style when he makes them .

We have 11 games to go in the league with 6 below us and 5 above  ,we are on course for 8th or 9th again unless miracles happen.

At the moment his persistence with odegaard is not working.

Losing faith ! Dropping Auba was acceptable but Willian ?  And then waiting for the Wenger witching hour not bringing Martinelli on until 70 minutes . Follow this with the midfield change to "" Shore up things "" and let them score in the last minute again  . I just shake my head sometimes .

Have to face it we are a poor team who under Arteta will always finish mid-table.

It's a hard watch lately not helped by the empty stands everywhere I feel. He'll be given the summer and at least half of next season to turn it around and I hope he will but fear he can't.
